Dear GGOS WG Chairs,

before the retreat we would like to have an update on the GGOS WGs. Please send
us an up-to-date Charter of the WG you are chairing including

- Goals and Objectives of the WG
- Activities planned
- Schedule of the planned activities
- Member list of the WG

Please send this information to rothacher@gfz-potsdam.de and
gundrum@gfz-potsdam.de by February 3, 2006.

I would also like to mention, that the Friday after the GGOS retreat, i.e.
February 17, 2006, will be dedicated to a meeting of the GGOS Chairs and the WG
Chairs. The goal of this meeting is to focus on issues raised and action items
defined during the Retreat that are relevant for the GGOS Working Groups, and
to discuss how these issues can be further developed in the Working Groups. We
hope that this meeting will help to strengthen the coordination of the work in
the WGs with the Steering Committee as well as between the WGs and thus
facilitate a better integration of the components of GGOS.
