8 (16:30 - 17:00) GGOS Governance Structure and Relation between IAG Services and GGOS
The current governance structure of GGOS does not seem to have led to ownership of GGOS by the IAG Services to the extent necessary for the desired integration of the geodetic observing system. Therefore, it is timely to reconsider the GGOS governance structure with the goal to facilitate ownership to a much larger extent. A proposal for a modified governance structure is available as pdf .
