The GGOS Bureau on Networks and Communication (BNC)

The BNC was formally established at the Fourteens Meeting of the GGOS Steering Committee in December 2008 following a Call for Proposals published in July 2008. The BNC is hosted at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. The Director of the BNC is Michael Pearlman, Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.

The current activities of the BNC are based on and continue the work of the GGOS Working Group on Networks and Communications, which existed from 2005 to 2008. The Working Group was chaired by Michael Pearlman.

The BNC will convene regular meetings with relevant experts of the GGOS Community. The First meeting took place on April 22, 18:30 - 21:00 PM at the Technical University, Vienna.
