| IS01 | CfP for new components issued | Milestone: Four new entities, the Coordinating Office, the Bureau for Network and Communication, the Bureau for Standards and Conventions, and the Bureau for Satellite Missions, are to be established. Moreover, GGOS needs to develop and operate a GGOS Web Portal. A Call for Proposals for these four entities has to be prepared and made public in the IAG community. The Coordinating Office and the Web Portal are closely related and will be solictied in one CfP. A specifications for the GGOS Web Portal needs to be prepared and published. | IS03 | New GGOS components identified | Milestone: Based on the proposals received in response to the CfP (Milestone IS01), the institutions/groups responsible for the implementation of the new components need to by identified. Status: Only three proposals were received, one each for the Web Portal, the Bureau for Networks and Communication, and one for the Bureau for Standards and Conventions. No proposals were received for the Coordinating Office and the Bureau on Satellite Missions. The Proposals received have been evaluated by a panel of five evaluators, and decisions on the Bureau for Networks and Communication, the Bureau for Standards and Conventions, and the GGOS Web Portal operator are expected at the 14th Steering Committee Meeting on December 14, 2008 in San Francisco.
